Accuspheres: Freeze-Dried NASBA Reagents
Accuspheres are lyophilized NASBA reagents that provide convenient transport and storage.  Stable for long periods of time at room temperature.  A complete NASBA reaction mix requires an Enzyme  Accusphere, a Reaction Buffer Accusphere, NASBA 2X Reaction Mix Resuspension Buffer w/DMSO, purified water, primers and reporter probes.
Enzyme Accusphere

Includes all the enzymes required to perform NASBA. Stabilized with trehalose.  Resuspend with 55μL of purified water.

Content per reaction:

  • 6.4 Units AMV RT
  • 32.0 Units T7 RNA Polymerase
  • 0.08 Units E. coli RNase H

NASBA Reaction Buffer Accusphere

Contains the non-enzyme reagents for use in NASBA reactions.  Resuspend sphere with 120 uL of our NASBA 2X Reaction Mix Resuspension Buffer w/DMSO.  Used with NASBA Enzyme Cocktail or resuspended NASBA Enzyme Accusphere to run NASBA reactions.

  • rNTPs
  • dNTPs
  • and other reagents

NASBA 2X Reaction Mix Resuspension Buffer w/DMSO

Used for resuspending NASBA Reaction Buffer Accusphere.

Contains:

  • 30% DMSO
  • 80 mM tris buffer, pH 8.5 at 20ºC

Storage: Store at -20oC
NASBA Single Reaction Amplisphere (All-In-One)

A lyophilized, measured-dose preparation of nucleic acid modifying enzymes, nucleotides, and other reagent substrates required to carry out a single NASBA reaction. Stabilized with trehalose.  Resuspend sphere with 22.5 μL of NASBA Single Reaction Diluent.  Primers and reporter probes are not included.

Enzymes per reaction:

  • 32 Units T7 RNA Polymerase
  • 0.08 Units E. coli RNase H
