DESCRIPTION
Each dye-doped silica nanoparticle (DDSNP) contains thousands of fluorescein dye molecules. Compared to a single dye molecule, a nanoparticle achieves over 300-fold fluorescence intensity. Unlike alternatives, the nanoparticle withstands photo-bleaching, is water-soluble and does not have troublesome “blinking.” Exclusive technology allows covalent coupling of biomolecules to a fluorescein nanoparticle permitting development of sensitive analyte detection systems.
STORAGE:4ºC - Gently sonicate before use.
